Hi all

I had the opportunity to go with a Bird Conservancy of the Rockies group to
Mountain Plover research site to find, observe, and tag Mountain Plover on
Wednesday. Gorgeous weather, sunny, 71 degrees, with great group and lots
of fun and more acquired knowledge!

Researcher took us to active nest (adult, two chicks, one egg); probably
saw total of 10 plovers (including chicks) in short span. Then there was
an untagged plover capture, banding and locator tracker. Other birds and
wildflowers, too. Pretty cool stuff! Beautiful vistas.
