I’ve been helping a male Broad-tailed Hummingbird get through this cold snowy day. I first saw him at a feeder at 6:40 this morning and last saw him at 7:40 this evening. I’ve been swapping warm feeders from inside for freezing feeders outside. I’m sorry there will be quite a bit of below freezing weather yet to come. Fortunately, feeding a hummingbird is the only job I have for the next few days!
