ADAMS COUNTY:
—-On May 9 a PIPING PLOVER was reported at Clear Creek Valley Park, just south 
of the Tennyson parking lot.  First reported on May 7 by Gabriel Wiltse.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
—-On May 9 a PIPING PLOVER was reported at Cherry Creek SP/Swim Beach.  First 
reported   On May 8 by Santiago Tabares.  This appears to be the first e-bird 
recorded Arapahoe County sighting of this species. 
BACA COUNTY:
—-On May 5 a (f) Vermilion Flycatcher was reported east of Campo, along Baca CR 
J near CR 31, by Alicia Arnold.

BENT COUNTY:
—-On May 8 a Yellow-throated Warbler was reported at Melody Temple Grove.  
First reported on May 7 by Brandon Percival/Monday Birders.
—-On May 6 a LESSER NIGHTHAWK was reported from Van's Grove (Bent CR JJ, east 
of Ft Lyon), Found on May 3 by Duane Nelson.

BOULDER COUNTY:
—-On May 9 a GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER was reported at Univ of CO- Boulder/Varsity 
pPond Area.  First reported on May 7 by Anna Gilmour.
—-On May 8 a Sagebrush Sparrow was reported along S. 66th St near Marshall Mesa 
(Mayhoffer Trailhead, roadside— a couple dozen yards uphill from the marsh).  
First reported on May 6 by by Aidan Coohill.

CHAFFEE COUNTY:
—-On May 7 a Blackpoll Warbler was reported at SandsLake State Wildlife Area by 
Jack Harlan.

EL PASO COUNTY:
—-On May 9 a Great-crested Flycatcher was reported at Fountain Creek Regional 
Park, on the west side of the pond adjacent to the Nature Center, by 
—-On May 5 a Wood Thrush was reported from Chico Basin Ranch—El Pas (fee area) 
by Kevin DeBoer.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
—-On May 7 a Blackpoll Warbler was reported at Wheat Ridge Greenbelt - Prospect 
Park & Lake.  First reported on May 5 by Mark Chavez.
—-On May 6 a NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported at Robert A Easton Regional Park. 
First reported on April 12 by David Suddjian.

KIOWA COUNTY: 
—-On May 5 a (m) Prothonotary Warbler was reported just south of Eads where 
Kiowa Creek crosses under County Road 40 by Brandon Percival.

LARIMER COUNTY:
—-On May 9 a COMMON GALLINULE was reported from Wellington State Wildlife Area, 
first seen by John Bruening on April 29. This rarity was at a pond north of 
Larimer CR 60 in the Schware Unit. (Note that this is not Morris Reservoir, 
which is on the south side of 60).
—-On May 8 a Philadelphia Warbler was reported at North Shield Ponds in Ft. 
Collins by Rachel Hopper.
—-On May 7 a Golden-crowned Sparrow was reported at Riverbend Ponds SWA 
frequenting the rabbit brush and dirt path at NE corner of the most NE pond; 
first found 4/25 by Lori Zabel.
—-On May 6 a Red-throated Loon was reported from Cobb Lake. (This private 
reservoir on CR 56 is viewable only from the road or the SWA parking lot). 
First reported on May 4 by David Wade. 

PROWERS COUNTY:
—-On May 9 a Hooded Warbler was reported at Lamar Community College (south end) 
by Brandon Percival.
—-On May 10 a Worm-eating Warbler was reported at Lamar Community College by 
Jim Merritt.
—-On May 6 a Yellow-throated Vireo was reported at Lamar Community College by 
James McCall.

RIO GRANDE COUNTY:
—-On May 5 a Scarlet Tanager was reported at Home Lake SWA, east of Monte Vista 
by John Rawinski.

WASHINGTON COUNTY:
—-On May 5 a Tricolored Heron was reported from the inlet canal of Prewitt 
Reservoir by Robert Beauchamp.

WELD COUNTY:
—-On May 7 a (f)Blackpoll Warbler was reported at Crow Valley Campground by 
Rachel     Hopper.
—-On May 6 a Mourning Warbler was reported at Pawnee NG/Crow Valley Campground 
by Lynn Thompson.
