Thank you all for your comments. I didn’t realise this was a sick bird. We have Black-headed grosbeaks here and House finches. I only have the one feeder and shall scrub it out immediately! The bird seems to be doing alright, she has water, food and shelter within feet of the feeder. I think there is nothing I can do for her. - Dave
