Hi all I ventured out to Norma's Grove to see what I could find. Eleven species best are Blue Grosbeak (3), Loggerhead Shrike (2) and Great Horned Owl. I walked in. Elsewhere along Weld CRs 59/120/67 and 124:
- Prairie Falcon - 3 CR 59 - McCown's Longspur - 6+ CR 59/120 - Say's Phoebe - 2 CR 59 Weld CR 124 had Greater Yellowlegs and some "peeps" trying to identify (URL below has shots). Cozzens Lake had five Stilt Sandpiper. Woods Lake had four "peeps", a couple of Franklin's Gull and parent/fledgling Forster's Tern. At Glenmere Park had eight immature Black-crowned Night Heron in the open.
