Hey COBIrders, Migrants!
FOS Northern Waterthrush today at Clear Spring Ranch banding (Hatch Year bird). This might seem early, but I have had one earlier each of the last five years. Also FOS MacGillivray’s Warbler, (Hatch Year female). This one IS the earliest I’ve banded at CSR. And lotsa Lazuli Buntings (50 so fr this month), Blue Grosbeaks, Chipping and Lark Sparrows. With 35 birds today I passed 400 total birds for the month (a very fast start).
