Our numbers remained low today with only 26 captures, though it was nice to interact with some birders who stopped by the station and I was able to talk to them about the process! We caught two new species for the season: a Least Flycatcher and a Hermit Thrush! This morning I was able to hear a Great Horned Owl nearby the station, though we did not catch it ): Also managed to see a Black-chinned hummingbird hovering around the nets. It was so great getting to meet everyone today!
