The number of birds being caught daily remains low for this time of the
season, but I think the percent of Wilson's Warblers - about 2/3rds of the
birds today - is probably about normal. Like Chico, we had our first
thrush, but ours was a Swainson's. Enjoyed sharing the birds with
enthusiastic groups of visitors today! Here's the breakdown of today's 32
birds:

Mourning Dove 1
House Wren 3
Swainson's Thrush 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Yellow Warbler 1
MacGillivray's Warbler 1
Wilson's Warbler 22
Brewer's Sparrow 2

We are open 6 days a week, weather permitting through October 23. Closed
Mondays.  Click here
<https://birdconservancy.doubleknot.com/event/calendar/4525> to register to
visit - we are offering one-hour slots (up to 12 visitors at a time);
7:30-8:30 most weekdays, and 8-9, 9-10, and 10-11 on weekends. We look
forward to seeing many of you during the season!
