Sorry I did not see your message earlier.
Depending on how far you want to walk, the easiest access is neighborhood 
parking is street of W Cornel Pl (see below).
There is a paved path from W Cornel Pl to Bear Creek Trail and it drops you 
right across log pile where the wren was.
There is also plenty of public parking along BCT, I parked at Fox Hollow 
Golf Course and walked.
