It was an excellent morning at Chatfield, with a nice number (42) of birds 
and diversity (14) of species, and OUR 105th SPECIES - A STUNNING ADULT 
MALE EVENING GROSBEAK.  OMG, what a head and bill!  We also caught our 
first of season Orange-crowned and Wilson's Warblers and Common 
Yellowthroat.  Here's the breakdown of the new birds:

Ruby-crowned Kinglet1
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Myrtle 12
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Audubon's 11
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Intergrade 1

 Wilson's Warbler 1
Spotted Towhee 1
Green-tailed Towhee 1
Song Sparrow 2
Lincoln's Sparrow 2
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 1
Brown-headed Cowbird 1
Evening Grosbeak 1

We will be banding mornings Tuesday through Sunday (closed on Mondays) 
through May 31.  Denver Audubon has scheduled one-hour time slots at 7:30, 
8:30 and 9:30 for visitors on weekends; visit here
