All:
Did a walk around the Stearns Lake area (Boulder County Open
Space) on Sunday. Here's what I observed:
4 bald eagles - 2 adults, 2 immatures
3 American kestrels
6 red tailed hawks
1 ferruginous hawk
2 northern harriers

A bit slow compared to last year. No rough-legged hawks present. The
lake had waves of cackling and Canada geese coming in and out - sometimes
completely dead, other times over 1000 geese. Some American tree
sparrows and white crowned sparrows present also.
