Ok now that you have given the 2 possible solutions how can i choose one over the 
other. I can guess hitting SQL server has its performance consideration.  If i wanted 
to keep session states alive to months the i guess SQL would be a choice i presume .. 
if so how can i achieve this.    Im talking about a classic scenario like close to a 
million users. I guess I will have to employ some kinda of NLB in the webfarm ..    
How can i choose on the number of systems required to handle a load like this.    One 
more thing i would like to discuss.. can i have distributed/clustered session 
management.. something like a fail safe server.    I really like to get some good info 
on all this.. Please take try to guide me through this one at a time.    I hope if 
people this thread can give a good overview into enterprise architectures.    Regards
