our cockapoo would not sleep in the crate by himself either, we tried
for a few days but he just howled and cried at night. everyone said he
would get used to it but after three days we couldn't take it anymore.
now the crate is next to my bed and he sleeps fine, but it's been 6
months and if i put him in the crate and leave for a few minutes he
still starts barking and crying. now i'm wondering if this will have
to be permanent. i would like to get him a big soft bed instead of
towels, but he still chews up the towels. he is 8 months.

does anyone know about what age they stop destroying the bedding?
