My cockapoo seems to be worse now than before. She is going to be
one in March. She is still "attacking" my lab, who is 5. By
attacking, I mean she chases her around the room trying to nip at
ears or she will stand on her hind legs a wrap her front paws around
her face almost like she is giving her a hug. Or if my lab is
walking, she will put her front paws on her back and walk along for
sort of a ride. My lab will growl at her a little but will not snap
at her. The vet said as long as her hair is not standing up or her
tail stops wagging, she is fine. My problem is when my cockapoo
does this it turns my lab back into a puppy and they start running
crazily around the house. Look out! I have tried "time outs" in
her crate (that is the only use of the crate). Of course, none of
this happens when my husband is home but let him close the door and
go outside, up pops the cockapoo for a little nibble! Please help!
Oh, and I had hired a dog trainer but you see where that got me...
shaking cans and using squirt bottles. Thanks!
