i have a 8 month old cockapoo and he hasn't been car sick yet (the
longest he's been on a trip is about 1 hour). When we plan to take
him anywhere we don't feed him in that half of the day until we get
back home. So if we take him somewhere in the morning we don't feed
him in the morning until we get back, and if we leave in the
afternoon we will feed him is morning food but not his afternoon
until we get back. Hope this helps.

Jake
