group
Wellcome to all the newbies........so sorry to hear about your
baby. It is so hard to lose them, especially like
that. I also came to this group after losing my Roxy of 16
years. Doing just what you are doing.....wasnt long after that I got
Maddie, and a year later Roni. And if Lucile and Pam have there
way we will have even more!! ROFL
For all newbies this is a wonderful group to learn and have
fun!!
Again welcome

Hi
All, Just wanted to finally drop in and say hi, and introduce
myself. I joined about 3 weeks ago, when I cockapoo passed
away. I guess I needed to find someplace to go just at first to
see if there were others out there that loved this type of dog as much
as I did and greived over. I have read through the posts and have
seen so much of my dog, Shaggy in alot of the descriptions. He was
attacked by a larger dog, and did not have a chance to make it. It
has been really hard to get over him. I was not a dog person, but
he was running the neighorhood, with long hair (he looked like Chubaka),
anyway we put up signs, and took him to a vet to see if there was a chip
in him w/owners name and number. After 1 month no one claimed
him. So of course with the kids promises to take care of him, he
became my responsibility. From day one he made it very clear that
he owned us. He was such a ham. Anyway sorry to ramble, but
I know I will get another cockapoo in time. I have been doing alot
of research, and they do come in different sizes, but they are all so
cute.
I look forward to being part of this group, and also am
located in Houston.
