Hi PJ Nice to meet you. I'm Val, I have two dogs, a lhasapoo named Sampson who is 9 years old, and a cockapoo named Delilah who is 7 years old. I had to chuckle when I read that Matilda carrys her food bowl around. Delilah is very good at that too..after she's eaten some of her food, she picks it up and takes it under the table. When she's done of course the first thing she does is runs over to Sampson's bowl to see if he's got any leftovers..she's gotten lucky a few times, and when she does, she picks up Sampson's bowl, and under the table she goes...she's also been known to carry them around the house..so much fun every morning when I get to play the 'where's the bowl' game! I finally got one of those reacher things for when she puts it in a place that I can't possibly get into like under the bed, or behind the chair. She follows me around the whole time knowing what I'm looking for, but not giving me a clue as to where it is!
That's pretty cool that Matilda goes kayaking. They are just the sweetest dogs aren't they? Would love to see a pic of Matilda, (which btw I love that name)! There are some great names here on this list of their cockapoos. I like that you are taking your time, and looking for a good breeder, rather then just jumping in and getting the first one you see. Delilah likes to sleep up above my head on a pillow I have up there for her...but most nights she lays on the pillow and lays her head on my head...which I usually don't mind..unless she snores..with her snoring and my husband snoring...not a pretty pic! But most nights, she's quiet, and sleeps well up there..Sampson always lies in between us, or at the foot of the bed. Good luck on getting another cockapoo.
