Any time I vacuum, my barks like crazy. Wonder why that is? I would love to be inside her head! She doesn't even bark at strangers, or other dogs; just the vacuum cleaner. Funny! She is very affectionate!
I'm not sure if anyone would agree. When we were looking for a puppy. I was told that females bond to mainly one person in the family, and will get along with everybody. Males tend to bond with everyone. I wanted a male, but my husband liked the color of the female. We got the female, Haley. She has bonded with me since I stay at home. When I say bonded, she listens to me better than my husband. She prefers to cuddle with me better than he.
Hope this helps,
Christina

Pattie,
We got our first cockapoo 3 years ago and it was the best decision could
have made. We live in PA and had her shipped from Tennessee(Birdwalk
Farms). I have extreme allergies and asthma and this is the only dog I have
ever been able to be around with getting ill. As far as barking, ours is
not a yipper. She only barks when she hears something outside or at the
vacuum cleaner. She is the most lovable, cuddly, delightful dog I have ever
been around. She is great with kids. I would highly recommend a cockapoo
to you as a family member.
Good luck
Anne
