I've just run into this situation. In my case v2 can open v1 docs, but cannot save that format. Because of this, I think it makes more sense that dbl-clicking a v1 document should open the v1 app, but LS always prefers the newest version of any apps with the same identifier (regardless of LSHandlerRank setting). So if your app changes "a lot" it makes sense to change identifiers. What "a lot" is depends. -- ____________________________________________________________ Sean McBride, B.
