humm... there's nothing in the search field and the side panel is still there. can't get that shortcut to work either: i'm using xcode 3.1.4 with 10.5.8.
the panel just suddenly appeared, although i may have accidently pressed or dragged something, but i can't seem to toggle it's visibility.
