The recent post regarding "Creating an Application Support folder" <http://lists.apple.com/archives/cocoa-dev/2010/Feb/msg00618.html> made me think about that folder. My understanding is that this folder is to be used for information generically usable by the application, but not specific to a given user. I am building an app that needs to store per-user data that is not document specific. I have created a folder under ~/Library for this, and am not using ~/Library/Application Support. Is there guidance from Apple on where such per-user, non-document-specific data is supposed to be stored?_______________________________________________
