Yes. Rather than using bounds scaling and leaving your drawables oblivious to 
zoom, it is commonly helpful to instead build your architecture to support 
drawing zoomed into a on unscaled bounds coordinate system. Often you'll want 
to draw things in unscaled units (resize handles, selection loops, and the 
like).
