+1. Seems you liked it :)
But it will need some little update at the next LogKit release which
deprecates ContextStack in favor or the new ContextMap.

I would prefer it in cocoon.xconf, as you propose in another post. IMO
web.xml should be reserved as far as possible to servlet-specific
deployment configurations.
