As far as the cocoon.xconf vs. the web.xml issue, I'm unsure. Berin
stated that logging is not a component, which may be valid, but why not,
why shouldn't I be able to set the logging information based on the
pipeline being executed.
My feeling is that the web.xml file is not the right place, so I'll say:
web.xml -1
