This has already been discussed (to some length):

and I vaguely remember the valid point/conclusion of someone (dunno who
anymore) that we should only start talking about an app framework when
the flowmap vision was fully implemented (cfr ScheCoon)

IMHO, people do find Cocoon a different beast than Struts, Webwork &
Expresso to name but a few
