I am glad I provoked you to add more to the list of things which should go on the front page. I think you understand enough of the high level Cocoon concepts to write up a marketing text. Actually I think it might be good that you don't know the internals yet. The more you learn internals the more you get confused which part of Cocoon is cooler than the others :)
If you come up with a nice cover text, I will give my vote for merging it into the front page.
