Agreed about the marketing position we don't want to squeese ourselves in and if you look again at my proposal you'll probably realize we're on the same page.
I wanted us to remove the persistance layer and only leave the flow control and form handling as a demo how Cocoon can be used as front end. I also like Ovidiu's suggestion. Don't use the Pet Store code. Rather provide a pet store app which behaves similarly. It is important that we make it behave similarly, to flatten the learning curve. People who know the original works, will be faster to catch on the Cocoon way of things, than if they had to lear how a new app works before studying the impl. Ovidiu or Konstantin or both of you together, do you want to do the flow control? I'll help to plug in the form handling.
