Actually, problem lies in Source interface desing not in CachingCIncludeTransformer. Recenty Source design has been changed and in theory CachingCIncludeTransformer should work properly. Unfortunately I don't have time to check it at the moment. If You are in need please try current CVS version of Cocoon.
