Try first cocoondev or sourceforge, believe me. Stephan, now I'm completely confused: you're saying you would like it to be in the Cocoon codebase, but Stefano's answer to you went in the direction of starting a subproject. As a matter of fact, I don't want to start a subproject I mean, it is just ONE class ! I envisaged this as a simple thing, to be completed and donated as a matter of course. Moreover: 1) It could remain in a JAR by itself, or in a block 2) We could propose changes to it under the supervision of a committer, which would be officially in charge of it 3) We could create mock classes in order to avoid breaking the build in case JFreeChart is not there 4) We could make IPZS officially donate it to ASF So, exactly, what's the problem ? 1) Is the license issue ? 2) Is that ChartTransformer is not mature enough ? Well, it may be, but I'd like some findings to subustantiate it. 3) Is not well-documented ? I beg to differ (grin). 4) Is because you don't want to get more stuff onboard with the 2.1 release approaching ? That I would understand... but, is that so ? 5) Is beacuse it comes out-of-the-blue, without discussing it first in the community ? Yes, but we hadn't any other option 6) Is something else ? Regards, P.S. I thought contributing to Cocoon to be easier... much easier :( --------------------------------------------- Luca Morandini GIS Consultant [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://utenti.tripod.it/lmorandini/index.html --------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
