Yes sure it's not a flame. it's just sharing of one of those unknown features of Excel and Web
The matter si that Excel serializer can be created in a minute. As I told it (privately) to Alex, I think that adding a Cocoon2 serializer for Excel (even if MIME type + XSL stylesheet can work) is important to convince managers and decision-makers.
