I have only been working with Cocoon with the last four months, but I must say ALL the examples worked for me (both binary and CVS HEAD distributions) ever since version 2.0rc1a. The only exceptions are unfinished scratchpad samples, but that's normal. I'm using Win2K, JDK 1.3.1 and Tomcat 4.0.1. Please provide your setup, so your remark is more meaningful.
