you could copy the hole classpath string in a
bat-file, which you execute once before you call the the first java-command
without the long cp-string
set
CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;z:\cocoon-scratchpad.jar;z:\xyz.jar ....
You need %CLASSPATH% if you don't wont to overwrite
systemsettings.
check with 'set CLASSPATH' whether your script done
its job well.
After the batch-file-execution
java org.apache.cocoon.Main -c d:\wwwroot\catalina\webapps\cocoon -d
d:/tmp -wc :/tmp -l logfile -u INFO -f d:/tmp/uris.txt
should work.

Subject: RE: How to use Command Line for

I'm getting a little further now... but not sure if this is
really how I should do it. Now my command-line is:
java -cp
"z:\servlet.jar;C:\Program Files\java\j2re1.4.0_02\lib\rt.jar;z:\avalon-excalibur-vm14-20020705.jar;z:\ avalon-framework-20020627.jar;z:\batik-all-1.5b2.jar;z:\bsf-2.2.jar;z:\casto r-0.9.3.9-xml.jar;z:\cocoon-2.0.3.jar;z:\cocoon-scratchpad.jar;z:\commons-co llections-1.0.jar;z:\commons-httpclient-20020423.jar;z:\commons-JXPath-20020 320.jar;z:\commons-logging-1.0.jar;z:\deli-0.50.jar;z:\fop-0.20.3.jar;z:\hsq ldb-1.61.jar;z:\jakarta-poi-1.5.0-dev-20020408.jar.jar;z:\jakarta-regexp-1.2 .jar;z:\jena-1.3.0.jar;z:\jimi-1.0.jar;z:\jisp_1_0_2.jar;z:\jstyle.jar;z:\jt idy-04aug2000r7-dev.jar;z:\krysalis-wings-0.1.0-dev-2.jar;z:\logkit-20020529 .jar;z:\lucene-1.2-rc2.jar;z:\maybeupload_1-0-5pre3.jar;z:\pizza-1.1.jar;z:\ rdffilter.jar;z:\resolver-20020130.jar;z:\rhino-1.5r3.jar;z:\velocity-1.2.ja r;z:\xalan-2.3.1.jar;z:\xercesImpl-2.0.0.jar;z:\xml-apis.jar;z:\xmldb-api-20 011111.jar;z:\xt-19991105.jar"
org.apache.cocoon.Main -c d:\wwwroot\catalina\webapps\cocoon -dd:/tmp
-wc:/tmp -llogfile -uINFO -fd:/tmp/uris.txt
Rather long, isn't it?
At least no classnotfound exceptions anymore. I copied some of the jar
files to my ramdisk (z:\) to make the command shorter. Any hints? Is
this really the way to do it? and what should my uris.txt look like? The
content is now:
http://127.0.0.1/ / /cocoon//cocoon/mount/editor/test/1 cocoon/mount/editor/test/1 http:cocoon/mount/editor/test/1 http:/cocoon/mount/editor/test/1 http://jelle/cocoon/mount/editor/test/1 http://jelle/cocoon/mount/editor/test/1 cocoon:/mount/editor/test/1
All
off which give broken links or even string index out of range and help me
nothing......
nothing big, just curious :)
.

How to use Command Line for html Generation
Hi,
I would like
to put a static html version of a cocoon site on a html-only server. I read
somewhere that I can generate the HTML using the command-line options for
Cocoon, but I don't know how. I run Cocoon 2.0.3, Windows 2000, JDK 1.4.0
and Tomcat 4.0.3 (probably doesn't matter). I admit, I know just about
nothing about java... shame on me.
Looking forward to your
reaction,
Jelle
