In my experience with Cocos I think it's missing two things which
would otherwise make it an awesome tool for animation:

1. easy creation of a long sequence of timed events (ok, this isn't
*that* hard right now but I think it could be easier), and
2. something to visualise animation events - a running animated
timeline that you could overlay on your screen to see all the cocos
events as they're coming up, as they fire and as they disappear into
time past. Pause, inspect and rewind optional ;)

That would be awesome.

Someone (heh) should write this!
