After two months and around 1700 downloads for RC0, with only one issue
about compatibility with python 2.4 (fixed), it was time to do the final
release.
So I rebuilt and uploaded to googlecode.
Changes in code from RC0 are only:
- fixed 2.4 compatibility with a conditional import
- a small change only perceived when building documentation
- small changes in setup.py for beter pypi page
Besides this, some update in docstrings, programming guide, quick reference.
This time the html docs is included with the cocos source tarball.
I forgot to include the last version for the quick reference with the
source,
get it from the downloads page please.
What remains to be done ?
* update cocos.org ( I will do tomorrow )
* update pypi page : I need colaboration from the people with permisions
to upload to pypi

If you want to handle this, the task would be
- download cocos2d-0.4.0.zip from the downloads in googlecode
- checkout a working copy at r1047
- from the zip move the html dir to working_copy\doc
- cd working_copy
- python setup.py sdist upload
The last step _should_ work, by I cannot test. I suposse it will ask for
some pwd, etc.
