I have done a very small work for the python version and now I am
using cocos2d-x.

Right now in the cocos2d world nobody is matching Riq's speed with the
objective-c version.
I discuss this with him when I told him that I wanted to do a game and
I was going to use cocos2d-x because of the multiplatform support. He
basically told me that if I was going to do a mobile game I should
target iphone since, for now, it's the biggest market. The best fw to
do an iphone game is cocos2d-iphone. If the game is successful you can
pay someone else to port it to the additional platforms. That's the
path that we are following.
