While I cannot comment on the analysis over the linux flow, may I ask which
pyglet version ?
The 1.1.x is not maintained anymore,
The code for clock + main loop has changed in pyglet 1.2,
Other anomalies in fps have been reported (like no redraw in certain
situations, or not honoring programmable fps in 1.2)
