I don't think I has seen any tutorial for platformers in cocos.

If you are familiar with the generics of platform programming, you may have
a look at test/test_platformer.py which demoes load map and using cell
properties. (included in the cocos download or clone)

If by 'wide-platform' you mean really big worlds which want to load maps in
chunks, I'm afraid to tell thats not supported in the actual cocos code.
