Hello everyone,

I noticed that Cocos2D has both a CollisionManager (collision_model.py) and
a RectMapCollider (tiles.py). They obviously don't exactly work the same
way, but I was wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to try to merge both
ideas into one entity... I don't know if this is really needed, but it
strikes me as odd that we have 2 different ways to detect collisions.

What are your thoughts? Any idea on what to refactor?

I like the idea from RectMapCollider that we have the information regarding
which side of the square collided (top, right, bottom or left). Should we
introduce some sort of Manifold for our CollisionManager, containing
information like the normal and penetration depth?

Thanks for sharing your opinions,
Daniel.
