And I forgot to mention that if all we want to do is launch one action without any repetitions, the easiest is to make self.do(my_action) in the __init__ method directly. The action will only run when on_enter is executed and will pause whenever on_exit is executed. So during a transition, the action will start as its on_enter method will be called. Then when the transition finishes, its on_exit method is called and its on_enter method is again called as the scene becomes the active scene. So the action seems to carry on naturally.
