Hi Jan,

That's what I thought -- backup would lock and clone volumes automatically -- so says the docs. But when I got all those "Volume replica doesn't exist" errors, I thought I would help it along manually and see what happened.

I'll try the patch when I get home from work today and let you know how it goes.
