As a follow-up to the 8th annual VIVO Conference held at Weill Cornell Medicine 
last week, the Samuel J. Wood Library is hosting a NISO Virtual Conference 
entitled “Research Information Systems: the Connections Enabling 
Collaboration<http://www.niso.org/news/events/2017/2017_virtconf/aug16_virtconf/>”
 and you are invited to attend!

This virtual conference will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 11:00am – 
5:00pm in the Samuel J. Wood Library.  See this link for an agenda and

If you missed the VIVO Conference, VIVO speakers include Rebecca Bryant from 
OCLC, who will talk about creating a culture of research reputation, and 
Muhammad Javed from Cornell, who will discuss VIVO as a Research Information 
Management System.   Others in attendance last week, such as our colleagues at 
Virginia Tech, will also present as part of this Virtual Conference.
