Hello Kyle, The short answer is AWS and other cloud services are Ideal for backing up many TB of media like video. Netflix started their hosting in AWS for instance. A few questions:
1. When you say you have 200TB that you would like to digitize are these analog tapes to be digitized and you need a destination or you actually have 200TB of files. 2. If it is the latter where does the media sit right now? 3. If it is the former do you have a digitization workflow defined yet? 4. Are you wanting to have quick access to this media say for scholarship or reuse or is it just about having back ups?
