I hadn't previously signed up on the code4lib website, so I did it this
morning, but I haven't gotten word of my approved account. How long
does that usually take because I would like to vote, too.

That's the -real- ballot, and it opens at midnight tonight (Eastern
time) and will be open for 24 hours.
