I didn't fill out my profile info, (it did ask me if I was the same
as some other account, and I said no), and everything seemed to work.
I didn't get any email about activation or anything.
How can I tell if voting did, in fact, work?

So, Jeffrey and Rob Casson have discovered the "feature" that you must
fill out your profile information (or, at the very least first name
and last name, I think) in order to vote.
While we won't actually hold your vote against you (although if you
voted for "Better Living Through Hierarchy", I know who you are and
you might want to start sleeping with one eye open), much like
elections in the United States (in theory, anyway), you need to have a
valid registration to vote.
Sorry about the inconvenience (and lack of help text).

After filling my ballot I get the following error on submission:
"We're sorry, but something went wrong.
We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it
shortly."
Will I get a second chance?

Sorry for the confusion, folks. I posted a preliminary link for
testing the new voting and proposal system.

That's the -real- ballot, and it opens at midnight tonight (Eastern
time) and will be open for 24 hours.
So, uh, thanks to everybody for testing the ballot! Gear up for
the real vote!
