Temporary Systems Engineer Position Open at Ohio State University Libraries
University Title: Systems Developer/Engineer Working Title: Systems Integration Coordinator Department: University Libraries-University Libraries Department Location: Columbus Requisition Number: 350169 Summary of Duties: Coordinates the implementation, deployment, and support of library systems and applications provided by external library vendors to meet the service needs of OSU Libraries; gathers functional requirements and prepares detailed specifications of technology solutions; first line of internal IT support and a key contact for hosted applications; facilitates effective support for systems that cross IT departments; works cooperatively with other internal/external teams on various library projects; develops and maintains documentation for library systems and software; serves as consultant to find and implement (as appropriate) solutions to needs that cross IT departments or involve vendors; provides technical project management and high-level troubleshooting; and responds to evening, weekend, and holiday emergency service calls. Additional Information This is a temporary position up to 6 months. This position may require a successful completion of a background check.
