We're in year 2 of using libraryh3lp.com. It's worked well for us. I use Digsby
as my client on Windows. As a Jabber client, it connects to Libraryh3lp and I
prefer it over Pidgin. Libraryh3lp keeps transcripts and stats. I occasionally
pull transcripts from Digsby directly, but I'm not sure what kinds of stats you
can get from it.

Have you looked at libraryh3lp? The reporting is simple, but it might give
you what you need?

fwiw, I haven't played around with it, so I don't know how much effort it
would take, but I'd think you could pull some stats from the pidgin chat
logs....
