Set your $mailhost in your codestriker.conf to the fully qualified name 
of the SMTP server you need to connect to.  At the moment, it looks like 
it is set to localhost.

I've never seen this issue... but it sounds to me that you will need to 
use SMTP authentication if the above doesn't make a difference.  Why 
don't you want to do this?  Quite a few people have set this up without 
issue.
