this is the rock and the hard place I've mentioned before... the
name="" attribute of <constructor-arg/> is the ONLY thing we needed
that would break compliance w/ the java Spring DTD. If we had 5 or 10
differences then having our own DTD would be a no-brainer. Since it
was just one thing, we decided to not publish our own DTD and deal w/
the issue at a later time. Regardless, we're always taking input on
the subject!
