Why can't you just put it under your webroot (so /coldspring would be
the path to it).

When it comes to CFC-based frameworks, you really need to play things
the framework's way. If you think you can install it somewhere else
and have it work, I think you have the wrong expectations about these
frameworks, sorry.

I put coldspring in a lower level directory after being forced to not
because I want to trust me. I won't be able to create a mapping until 1.0 is
out thus why I have been such a PITA when it comes to asking for 1.0. see
the methods that I must resort to!!
