Why can't you just put it under your webroot (so /coldspring would be the path to it).

Thanks for the help, but ya I can't do either of those things. I don't have access to a 7.0 server or the administrator in order to create the mapping. I put coldspring in a lower level directory after being forced to not because I want to trust me. I won't be able to create a mapping until 1.0 is out thus why I have been such a PITA when it comes to asking for 1.0. see the methods that I must resort to!!
