Chris: Never said I was against it (did I?). However, I'm not the kind of person to just let something sit there uninvestigated. If there's a way to get ColdSpring working in Jboss without a mapping, I'd like to know. I installed the Coldspring 1.0 Final Release. I didn't see a 1.1 version on the site. I'll look again. - Steve

Especially since you are running an unsupported app server, I think you should try to get it running with a mapping so you have a known working set up first, and then if you actually have the time to invest, you can seek out a different solution.
